Juice Review 10/08/2013
'Mocha'

This is a written review of 'Mocha' created by James and Jade who own 'Vaper Train', A web based E-cig store situated in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The juice is 18mg 50pg/50vg, and is one of their new E-liquids in the 'VT Buffet Car' Range. A new line of Premium made juices using only the best ingredients which are all sourced in the UK.

James and Jade kindly sent me this e-liquid, for the purpose of review.
In their own words:-
'Mocha'
Mocha, if like me you love coffee and chocolate you will love this although we keep the chocolate very subtle with this vape. This is great first thing in the morning or after a meal.
Mocha E-liquid, comes in a 50% PG and 50% VG mix,and comes in 10ml, 30ml and 50ml bottles with child proof caps and choice of nicotine strengths from 0-24mg. If you request a higher nicotine strength you can let them know your requirements at checkout.

All bottles are beautifully labelled and easily read, and come with tactile warnings and child proof safety caps. Shipping is super fast and customer service is top notch.

On opening the bottle, A rich full bodied Columbian coffee. Strong and rich, wafting it's essence in the air. An aroma of freshly brewed, ground coffee beans, flowing through the house as if the percolator was brewing morning coffee for breakfast. There was a subtle spiciness and the scent of the coffee took me back to the Medellin Mountains of northern Colombia. In a dreamy state I was Sitting high above the valley and looking down at the city below, whilst taking in the aromas of freshly grown coffee beans from the plantations not so faraway. The essence of Colombia resides high in the mountains.
I am quite partial to my full roasted, columbian coffees. with their, silky body, cane sugar sweetness, floral hints and traces of tropical fruits are all found in the best Colombia coffees.
The aromatic flavours of a good coffee bean, are sweet and with heavy chocolate tones and this smelled deliciously tempting.

On the inhale, a beautiful full bodied rich columbian coffee, sweet with what tasted like hints of brown sugar. A slight hint of sweetness, which fades into a powdery cocoa finish. A dark, mellow chocolate lies subtly across my palate very soft, and not overpowering, as the flavour of the coffee is the more prominent flavour of the two. I would say this coffee was of medium Intensity. It wasn't too light that you couldn't taste it and it wasn't to strong nor bitter. I found it to be very relaxing and just the perfect balance to make this e-liquid the perfect vape.

On the exhale, hints of dark chocolate but foremost was the richness of the coffee. There was a slight floral note to take any bitterness away from the strength of the coffee, making it a flavour I would most certainly vape all day.

The dark roasted Colombian coffee beans are deliciously strong, rich, full-bodied, and just like a traditional Colombian cup of coffee, which I usually enjoy at the start of my day. This juice is more mellow with softer tones, but has the intensity needed for a good flavoursome coffee. Not being sweet, this e-liquid is one I will enjoy, as I'm not a sugar fanatic and don't have sugar in my coffee or my tea. This I would consider to be a beautiful vape in the morning as it offers superior taste, superior qualities and a beautiful rich aroma.

Juice Review 10/08/2013
This is a written review of 'Strawberry Custard by Paul Bowers.
My opinion of this juice will be my true and honest opinion as always.

All bottles are beautifully labelled and easily read, and come with tactile warnings and child proof safety caps.
I am using my dripper at 1.8ohm, on my Provari, set at 4.3 volts. The juice I am reviewing is 24mg 70pg/30vg.

Paul Bowers, the owner of http://www.ecigarettedepot.co.uk/ , owns a web based E-cig store, situated in Armthorpe, Doncaster. He sells a wide range of E-liquid and vaping goods and sells 10ml and 100ml bottles of E-liquid at a great cost. He has daily and weekly deals and does Zero Nicotine, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, and 24mg Nicotine Strengths. All juices are 70pg/30vg unless otherwise stated.

On the website it says:-
All Liquids are mixed to order and normally dispatched within 24/48 hours first class registered mail.
Their aim is to supply quality UK made E-Liquid at an affordable price.
Buying UK Made e-liquid gives you peace of mind, knowing the liquids content. All liquids and concentrates are sold in 10ml bottles and 100ml bottles are now available for certain juices.
Because they keep their website simple, they can spend all of their time, giving you the best quality possible.

On opening the bottle, Straight away I could smell the beautiful aroma of rich, creamy, vanilla custard. A mellow, subtle custard. Not strong and overpowering, but lightly whipped and very delicate. The scent of freshly picked strawberries lurked in the background of this juice, and It took me back again, to the cartons of Ambrosia Pink Custard I had as a child. The minute you peeled the tinfoil lid off, the aroma of strawberry custard, just waiting to be enjoyed.

On the inhale, a burst of summer freshness, with the taste of ripened, sweet strawberries coating the whole of my mouth with a sweet creamy fruitiness. The dreamy, creamy flavour of custard, fresh, sweet and juicy, with just a touch of strawberry tartness, giving you a beautiful balance between both flavours.
Bringing back childhood memories of strawberries and custard, a clean, fresh tasting strawberry with just the right amount of sweetening, sets this dish off, as the pudding of all puddings. Given to me by my mother, as an after school time treat. Strawberries and custard were meant for each other, and being blended together in this beautifully rich, decadent e-liquid, the flavours take some beating. A giant bowl of pink custard, eaten hot or cold, was always a comforting memory.
What was it with pink strawberry custard? Lusciously gorgeous in colour, texture and comfort factor, and a pudding everyone simply adored. Pink custard just made any school pudding a real treat. I always thought that it was simply yellow custard with some food colouring. How wrong I was. I have discovered why, whenever I make some, it simply never looks or tastes the same as memory tells me it did in the 70′s.

On the exhale, the sweet luscious taste of 'Strawberries and cream campino' sweets. Very creamy and very moreish. Leaving a coating of velvety smooth vanilla custard on the palate for a while afterwards. This is a beautiful juice. It brought back so many fond memories. If you would like to try 'Strawberry Custard' and dream of days gone by, then order a bottle of this today, as you don't know what you're missing until you have tried some.

Vapour production was excellent for a 70pg/30vg juice, throathit with it being 24mg was perfect for me as I normally have anything from 24mg-36mg, depending on what flavours I am vaping,  and the flavour was absolutely beautiful.
Always remember that taste is subjective, and what one might like, another may dislike.

Juice Review 10/08/2013
'Welsh Mist'

This is a written review of 'Welsh mist' created by Dan and Gaz of GreatEvape, who own a web based E-cig store in Wales, and my opinion of this juice will be my true and honest opinion as always. The flavour I am reviewing is 11mg 50pg/50vg.
I am using a dripper at 1.2 ohms on my Gus, with a fresh battery set at 4.2 volts.
All bottles are beautifully labelled and easily read, and come with tactile warnings and child proof safety caps.

As stated on their website:-
They are a Wales based team of E-liquid and E-Cig manufacturers and suppliers, and their aim is to provide you with the best tasting e-liquid possible. All of their e-liquids are manufactured using only UK sourced ingredients, and are manufactured to the highest standards. They endeavor to supply their customers with the quality they expect from a UK company, and they have a great range of tailor made e-liquids which can be manufactured to meet your exact requirements and personal tastes. Unlike many imported liquids sold by other companies their e-liquids can be adjusted in strength , flavour and diluent blend for your personal preference. Their e-liquids are regularly tested for quality to ensure they continue to provide a consistent standard of e-liquid for the consumer.

GreatEvape have a wide selection of E-liquids and the one I am reviewing today is from their Premium Signature Range.
E-liquids come in a choice of either, A Regular 10ml bottle for £3.85, A Large 20ml bottle for £6.85 and also 5x5ml testers bottles for £10.00 of your choice of flavours, and a choice of Zero nicotine, 8mg, 11mg, 18mg and 24 mg nicotine strengths.

On reading their description of the juice, it doesn't tell you what's in this mysterious blend but what it does say, keeps you guessing and makes you want to try it even more.

 On their website It says:-
Welsh mist ..... our signature premium blend , perfect for the discerning vaper , many premium ingredients and flavours to stimulate the senses.

Hmm this was very intriguing and I couldn't wait to try it.

On opening the bottle, the most beautiful aroma of creamy caramel and a hint of vanilla. It reminds me of the butterscotch angel delight, where you add the milk and whisk until thick and creamy. Mmm, It's aromas were very moreish. There was a faint smell of a light tobacco not unlike the smell of a caramel, vanilla RY4 but very slight and since I had no idea what was in this juice, I had to try and discern what ingredients were in it, as I wasn't going to be able to tell just by aroma alone.
'Welsh Mist' is one of those juices in the same category as 'Boba's Bounty' and 'Pluid'. Many different aromas and tastes, and different with each vape.
Because taste is subjective, everyone's palate differs, so one might get one flavour and others may get something totally different. I was sure this was one of those juices, before I even tried it.

We know it's called 'Welsh Mist', but I can't help but wonder!. What is Welsh Mist supposed to taste like? I haven't got a clue, but I love it's aroma.
I couldn't wait to try it, so I dripped some drops into my atomizer and took my first puff. This was actually not what I expected at all. It tasted totally different to it's scent I had smelled just seconds before.

On the inhale a very light peppermint flavour coated my tastebuds. Very mellow on the palate and the flavour was just there and no more.
It had a slight sweetness to it, only sweet enough to add to the flavour. It wasn't overpowering or sickly and the slight mintiness of the mellow peppermint, was quite pleasant.
As for what the flavour is, well, we all know what a creamy mint toffee tastes like. Imagine being able to taste that in an e-liquid, slightly sweet, and very satisfying with a very slight caramel toffee lingering in the background of the peppermint. It wasn't a heavy flavour , it was quite the opposite, and was very subtle and extremely smooth.

On the exhale, again a slight hint of peppermint, mingling with the caramel toffee and ahh, a hint of coconut. I had to keep trying it as the flavours were all so subtle, but the combination of flavours combined  perfectly with one another. This to me tasted a bit like Highland Mist, as it too is a very mellow flavour, with hints of fruit and mint.

The throat hit on this juice was acceptable. Not the one that comes from my usual 24-36mg juices, but for 11mg it was okay. I'll admit I wasn't all that keen on this juice to begin with, but the more I vaped it, the more It became enjoyable. This is one that can quite easily be vaped all day.
I'm a vaper who likes stronger, bold, punchy flavours. I like my flavours to stand out a little more, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one, as it was really quite enjoyable. Personally not one I could vape myself all the time, but it's not a bad juice at all, infact it's quite the opposite. I would definitely vape this on the odd occasion, and I will look forward to finishing the bottle, If it had been a tad stronger in flavour, I would definitely be buying a lot more of it, but if you like a nice mellow juice with the hints of a coconut, peppermint and caramel, then this one is definitely for you.
